A POPULAR Old Town restaurant and cafe has impressed food hygiene inspectors.
Jacks, on Victoria Road, had a visit from Swindon Borough Council's experts on May 20 and the results of that inspection have now been published on the Food Standards Agency website.
It received a good four out of five rating.
Both the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness of the facilities and building were deemed Good while the management of food safety was Generally Satisfactory.
This latest rating means that of Swindon's 264 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 209 (79 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
