TOWN CENTRE: An application has been made to the licensing authority for Swindon for the grant of a premises licence by J&J Foods Ltd in respect of 75 Bridge Street.

The application seeks the following licensable activities and times: Sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises every day from 10am to midnight.

The full application may be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

HIGHWORTH: Notice is hereby given that under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the vouncil proposes to make a One Way And Prohibition Of Driving Order 2022 traffic order for administrative purpose.

This order will extend the one way and prohibition of driving except access restriction on Vicarage Lane to Sheep Street at its junction with Market Place in Highworth, as indicated by signs.

WANBOROUGH: A planning application (reference S/HOU/22/0681JP) for Green Willows, on the High Street suggests building a garage and carport - this is an amendment to the  previous approval (S/HOU/18/0707).

HIGHWORTH: An application (reference S/RES/22/0798TB) for Phase one of Redlands Park on Swindon Road includes details of reserved matters from previous outline permission (S/OUT/17/1340) for the construction of 67 dwellings and associated works without compliance with conditions one (Approved Plans) and two (Arboricultural Method Statement) from previous permission (S/RES/19/1371 (in accordance with the description amendment pursuant to S/AMEND/22/0707)).

BLUNSDON: An application (reference S/RES/22/0702TB) for land At Hill Cottage on Blunsdon Hill details reserved matters for the erection of 90 dwellings, including recreation space, landscaping, road and drainage infrastructure.

This follows on from previous outline permission (S/OUT/17/1032) but without compliance with conditions one (Approved Drawings) and three (Electric Car Charging Points) of previous permission S/RES/19/1773 (in accordance with description amendment pursuant to S/AMEND/22/0548).

HIGHWORTH: There are plans (reference S/22/0752EDSN) to retore the Swindon flood plain and create wetland mosaic and ponds on Fresden Field, with land east Of Fresden Barn which is part Of the Coleshill Estate.

LYDIARD MILLICENT: Lydiard Green will be closed to traffic from its junction with The Butts to its junction with Bagbury Lane to enable Openreach to have safe access to complete cabling works from multiple JRC's.

Alternative route: via Lydiard Green (unaffected length) - Church Place - C34 - C414 and Lydiard Green (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This order will come into operation on 15 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm for two days.

CRICKLADE: Chelworth Road will be closed to traffic from outside the property known as Upper Broad Leaze Farm for a distance of approximately 150m in a south westerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out service pipe repair.

Alternative route via Chelworth Road (unaffected length) - C70 - B4040 - B4553 - The Forty -Chelworth Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.
