AN ELDERLY woman was taken to the hospital after a fire in a three-storey block of flats last week.
A woman in her 80s was taken to hospital after the fire broke out at a flat in Spring Lane, near the city centre.
Pictures taken by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue show the extent of the damage that the fire caused.
The fire was caused by a small electrical appliance.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue said: "Two crews from Worcester were called at 9.23am, on June 21 2022, to a fire in a ground floor flat in a 3 storey block of flats at Doltons Wharf, Spring Lane, Worcester.
"The fire was contained to a bedroom although there was smoke damage to the whole flat.
"It was dealt with using one hose reel jet and breathing apparatus. One female in her 80s was taken to hospital by ambulance.Â
"The incident was closed at 11.37am."
