If you're heading on the M4 this weekend, this is the disruption you can expect due to several motorway closures, according to National Highways England.

This is mostly due to joint replacement works and other repairs along the Wiltshire junctions.

If you are set to be travelling within these areas at that sort of time, then take note of what diversions will be in place.

Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3.

M4 road closures on Friday, July 1

On the M4 Eastbound way at Junction 19 there will be an entry slip road closure for resurfacing from 10pm to 6am.

A diversion will be in place via M4 westbound to Jct 20, M5 southbound to Jct 16, and return M5 northbound to Jct 15 to join M4 eastbound.

Meanwhile, there will be a carriageway closure on the M4 Eastbound between Junction 22 and 21, including Junction 22 Eastbound entry slip closure for road markings renewal.

This will take place from 9pm to 6am with a diversion being in place from M49 to Avonmouth, turn at St.Brendans roundabout, re-join M5 northbound, re-join M4 eastbound at Jct 15.

M4 road closures on Saturday, July 2

In both directions on the M4 the Junction 18 carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slips for bridge inspection from 10pm to 9am.

Meanwhile, on the M4 Eastbound there will be an entry slip road closure for resurfacing works from 9pm to 6am.

A diversion will be in place via M4 Westbound to Jct 20, M5 Southbound to Jct 16, and return M5 Northbound to Jct 15 to join M4 Eastbound.
