A popular Radio 4 show is coming to Swindon and is looking for participants to come and get involved.

A panel of personalities will be coming to Swindon's STEAM Museum on August 12 to record an episode of BBC Radio 4's long-running Any Questions programme.

The panel is made up of people from the world of politics, business and media who then discuss topical issues. Last week, Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg was on the show.

The programme has been running for 74 years and is broadcast from a different location each week.

It is not known who will be hosting the Swindon episode of the programme.

Chris Mason recently chaired his final episode because he has now been promoted to political editor of BBC News.

Jonathan Dimbleby was chair from 1987 until 2019 when Mason took on the role.

People in Swindon will be able to ask questions which will then be discussed by the prominent panel members.

These questions will be posed from the audience during the live broadcast.

Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis and audience members need to submit their questions before the show.

The programme is live between 8pm and 9pm on August 12.
