If you're heading on the M4 this weekend, this is the disruption you can expect due to several motorway closures, according to National Highways England.

This is mostly due to resurfacing works and other similar maintenance repairs taking place along the Wiltshire junctions.

If you are set to be travelling within these areas at that sort of time, then take note of what diversions will be in place.

Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, July 22 to Sunday, July 24.

M4 road closures on Friday, July 22

On the M4 Eastbound at Junction 5 there will be a slip road closure for Smart Motorway works with a diversion via the National Highways network.

This is scheduled to take place from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

M4 road closures on Saturday, July 23

There are no road closures scheduled for the M4 junctions in or near Wiltshire for this day.

M4 road closures on Sunday, July 24

On the M4 Eastbound at Junction 19 there will be an entry slip road closure for resurfacing works.

Diversion via M4 westbound to Jct 20, M5 southbound to Jct 16, return M5 northbound to Jct 15 to join M4 eastbound.

This section of roadworks will take place from 10pm on Sunday until 6am on Monday.
