Travellers dumped bin bags full of rubbish and bedding in a stream before being evicted from Swindon council land.
The group arrived in Tovey Road, Pinehurst, on July 29 and were there for five days before acting on a police order that told them they must leave by noon on Thursday.
Retired photographer Lee Collie sent in some photos of the mess left behind by the travellers.
They show bin bags and bedding being in the stream along with energy and fizzy drink cans.
Tree branches have been cut down and left in the field.
The Pinehurst resident said: "I’m very upset, the council said they would have a team ready to go in to clean up the mess however no council staff have been seen on the site.”
Swindon Borough Council declined to comment on the matter.
In an earlier statement the council said: “Once the group has left the site, our team will visit and organise a clean-up where necessary.”
