Swindon Town have announced a new partnership to keep hungry fans well fed at home matches.

The three-year-deal with Proper Cornish will see staff at 11 new kiosks serving up a range of authentic pasties, sausage rolls and other snacks for supporters at the County Ground.

Town players Ricky Aguiar and Oscar Massey joined officials for a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Club CEO Rob Angus said: “We are really pleased to be working with Proper Cornish to bring some authentic, great tasting food to our kiosks for the new football season.

“Bringing our kiosk offerings in-house enables us to control and improve the food we offer fans which not only provides variety but will raise additional revenue that can be reinvested back into the football club."

Proper Cornish senior commercial manager Danny Latham said: “We’re proud to have agreed this deal with Swindon Town and I’m really excited to see where we can take this venture moving forward.

“This football club has a rich history, is incredibly ambitious and progressive. They share the same values and traditions as we do and I’ve no doubt this will be a long and prosperous partnership.”

Proper Cornish was founded in 1988 and sources its ingredients from the county.
