One of the things no-one expects to see is a car coming towards them on the motorway.
But that's exactly what some motorists on the M4 might have come across on Sunday night.
The Wiltshire Specialist Ops Twitter account, which tweets about the roads policing and armed response arms of Wiltshire Police revealed that it caught someone driving towards oncoming traffic near Chippenham.
The driver of the black Mercedes is alleged to have missed their exit slip so decided to turn around to go back to it before being stopped by officers.
In the Tweet, the police labelled this as 'disgraceful behaviour'.
Disgraceful behaviour by the driver of this vehicle on the M4 near Chippenham last night. They thought it acceptable to drive the wrong way along the motorway having overshot their exit slip.
