Four cars involved in pile up near Wickes
A FOUR-CAR crash caused delays for commuters this morning.
The incident happened on Gypsy Lane near the DIY store Wickes at roughly 7.45am, with emergency services on the scene.
Police attended to assist with traffic management and later confirmed that no-one was injured, and that after some minimal disruption the road was cleared.
The stretch of road and roundabout by Wickes and Lidl coming off of Bridge End Road and Gypsy Lane is notorious for crashes, with several posts on Facebook community groups reporting incidents there.
In February this year, a person was taken to hospital after a crash between a car and bicycle at the roundabout.
