THE two-year closure of Fleming Way has prompted a major shake-up in Swindon's bus network.

While the town centre thoroughfare is being transformed into a £33 million bus boulevard, Swindon's Bus Company vehicles will be picking up passengers from different parts of the town centre.

The changes come into effect on September 4.

A company spokesman said: "Following the announcement that Fleming Way will be shut for two years whilst major restructuring of the area is undertaken, all buses will use different bus stops.

"There will not be as much space available as in Fleming Way, therefore customers are advised to clearly signal by putting your hand out for the bus that you want to stop.

"On the same date, many routes will have timetable changes. More details will be available about those towards the end of August."

To figure out what bus will be stopping where, use the bus company's map and our table below.

All town centre stops are indicated on the map by the letters A to T and buses which stop in any of the main station's 18 bays will have that number next to them in the list.
