A town centre restaurant has been slapped with a zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Inspectors said Ofie Direct Bar and Restaurant on 59-60 Bridge Street needed to drastically improve across the board, with hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety all needing improvement.
On Companies House the business is listed as many things from cargo handling for water transport activities, other building and industrial cleaning activities, and other cleaning services, but not a bar or restaurant.
The website for Ofie Direct Ltd shows that it is a specialised door-to-door shipping business that travels to and from Ghana.
The Adver could find no social media presence for the eatery, but it does have eight five-star reviews on Google - although one is written by itself.
The venue was inspected on July 21.
This latest score means that of Swindon's 261 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 209 (80 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
The other zero-rated restaurant is Baban Restaurant and Takeaway on 96 Manchester Road, which was shut down by appalled inspectors because of a cockroach infestation.
