Weeks of blazing sun and no rain have left the Wiltshire countryside tinder dry and parched.
Our camera club members have recorded the impact of this summer's record breaking hot spell on the landscape.
A drought was declared for parts of the county just before the weekend, following five consecutive months of below average rainfall that left rivers and reservoirs all over the UK lower than normal for the time of year.
Rain showers and cooler temperatures are due this week but the long range forecast is for more warm spells into September.
