Two drivers have been reported after a crash caused by a car's top box spilling over the motorway.
Wiltshire Police's Roadside Policing Unit attended to a two-vehicle crash on the M4 near J16 after cars were forced to swerve when one vehicle's top box contents accidentally flew out onto the road.
Tweeting about the incident on the Wiltshire Specialist Ops Twitter page, Wiltshire Police shared a photo that displayed severe damage caused to one car.
A picture of the unsecured load which had fallen out was also included, appearing to show some form of camping gear.
The driver of the car with the unsecured top box was reported, but a second driver was also reported by police after officers discovered 'devil's pine' during their investigation of the crash.
Another picture showed a large green tub with 'my medicine' written on it, as well as an orange and a zip-lock bag containing cannabis.
The full tweet posted on August 12 is as follows: "RPU responded to a 2 vehicle RTC M4 J16 after the contents of a top box flew over the road causing cars to swerve, during our investigation, we reported one driver for insecure load and another for possession of the devil's pine."
