A MOTORCYCLIST from Wiltshire has died after a crash on the M6.
Staffordshire Police were called at 12.20pm on Monday afternoon (September 5) to reports of a collision on the northbound carriageway of the M6 near Keele Services, between junctions 15 and 16.
The collision involved a red motorcycle and a white Peugeot 208.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance attended, as well as an air ambulance.
The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man from the Wiltshire area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision.
Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage are being asked to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 260 of September 5.
