SWINDON'S Bible Society is now an official Best Company' after achieving two stars in a 2008 survey.
It means the 200-year-old international charity is an outstanding' company to work for, according to the Best Companies guide to UK organisations which focuses on what employees really think of their workplace.
Entering the survey for the first time, Bible Society, based at Westlea, was one of only 117 organisations to achieve two-star status.
Out of more than 650 companies that entered, fewer than 50 companies were given three stars.
James Catford, Bible Society's chief executive, said: "Our people are our most valued asset. They are a creative and dedicated team who work incredibly hard to make Bible Society's mission - to make the Bible heard - a reality."
