A Swindon couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve with cake, family - and a letter from King Charles himself.
Reginald Webber, 92, known colloquially as Vic, and Marion, 89, got hitched on December 31, 1952, and several members of their family paid a visit to their Nythe home to celebrate the 70th New Year's Eve as man and wife.

The couple themselves were overjoyed by the visits.
"It was an absolutely wonderful day; long & tiring but an absolutely wonderful day," they said.
"We had two beautiful cakes made. We received lots of lovely messages from those that could not be with us as well as calls from family in Flushing and America.
"It was lovely to receive our letter from the King which will take pride of place next to the letter from the Queen that we received for our 65th Wedding Anniversary and feel very lucky to have a letter from two monarchs."
Their daughter Sheila Vango, 68, helped to organise the event.
"It was a wonderful day to watch mum and dad celebrate with their extended family and are now looking forward to mum’s 90th in July."
