One of Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s charity shops is now providing a collection service for donations.

The collection service runs on Tuesdays all over Wiltshire and Bath for large quantities of donations and is operated by a volunteer.

The branch in Devizes accepts clothing, shoes, jewellery, handbags, toys, bric-a-brac, books and DVDs.

At the moment it is particularly short of children’s toys.

Anyone who wants to book a collection can email jackie@wiltshireairambulance.co.uk or call 01380 300536 (option 3).

The shop is in Maryport Street and recently underwent a major refurbishment. It opens Monday to Saturday, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

It is unable to accept electrical goods, firearms, knives, high chairs/car seats or poor quality, damaged or dirty clothing.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance Ambulance has been saving lives for more than 30 years. It is operational up to 19 hours a day, 365 days a year, in Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.

But it receives no regular funding from the Government and has to rely on fundraising to generate the £4m a year needed to keep it flying and answering emergencies.
