Two Swindon groups will be making a big song and dance over mental health.
To raise funds for IPSUM, two Swindon performing arts organisations - The North Swindon Big Band and The Cast of Stage Struck - are teaming up for a big show at the MECA on July 9.
The Cast of Stage Struck was created in 2015 as a small Swindon-based group of ladies who enjoy singing, movement and performing for charity, usually producing two shows a year.
North Swindon Big Band is a 20-piece big band, playing a wide range of music from the swing and dance era of the 1930s to the present day.
Karen Cordon, musical director for North Swindon Big Band and Michelle MacClay, artistic & musical director for The Cast of Stage Struck are thrilled to be working together.
“We are delighted to work together again after last year’s triumphant event. We can guarantee that our audience will enjoy a really entertaining musical afternoon and we are delighted that all the proceeds will go to IPSUM, a fantastic local charity," they said.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting the MECA website - www.mecaswindon.co.uk.
