Two boys have been arrested following a Halloween car fire on a Swindon street.
The incident occurred at around 10.14pm where Seacole Crescent meets Pasteur Drive in Old Town on Tuesday, October 31.
One fire crew attended the scene and found a Vauxhall Insignia alight.
Firefighters battled the flames and stopped the fire just under half an hour later.
Two teenagers, aged 13 and 14 years old, were arrested by police officers in relation to the incident of suspected criminal damage.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Two boys aged 13 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after damage was caused to a Vauxhall Insignia parked in the Seacole Crescent area on October 31.
“One of the boys was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.”
The pair have not been charged for the criminal damage but police confirm that one of the boys was bailed for possession of a bladed article.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call at 10.14pm on Tuesday evening with reports of a vehicle fire on Pasteur Drive, Old Town.
“A crew from Swindon attended the incident, finding a car well alight on arrival. Two breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.”
