A driver has been assaulted following a road rage incident on a Swindon roundabout.

The incident, which took place at approximately 8.40am on Friday, October 27, happened on the Kemble Drive and Firefly Avenue roundabout in Swindon.

"The driver of a silver Volkswagen and driver of a white van were involved in an altercation and one of the drivers was assaulted," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.

Now, police officers are urging anyone in the area to check their doorbell or dash cam footage for that morning.

"If you witnessed this incident or if you have any CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage of the incident, please contact us," the spokesperson added.
