A suspected drunk driver remained at the scene of a crash in Swindon for hours.
Officers found a man in his 50s behind the wheel of one of the vehicles involved in a collision with a parked car on Buckhurst Crescent.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after 8.50am on Saturday, November 18, but the crash had happened a few hours earlier.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We have arrested a man on suspicion of drink driving following a minor road traffic collision in Buckhurst Crescent, Swindon.
“At around 8.50am, we received a report of a minor collision between a car and a parked car a few hours previously.
“Upon attendance, a man in his 50s was found behind the wheel of one of the vehicles.
“He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has been taken to custody for questioning.”
