A free community-based art event will feature 130 artists and craftspeople across 56 venues over two weekends in September.
Swindon Open Studios (SOS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is set for the biggest event in its history.
The event, which will take place during the last two weekends in September, will provide access to a variety of art forms including paintings, ceramics, stained glass, jewellery, mosaics and digital art.
Visitors to studios in Swindon and the surrounding areas can appreciate a diverse range of creations, while artists can meet their audience and gain feedback.
Some venues will offer practical sessions like pottery classes or instruction in stained glass cutting.
The event began with only a few artists opening their studios to friends and family, but, by 2004, 53 artists took part.
Since then, SOS has more than doubled in size, creating a thriving arts community in Swindon.
Sheryll Fox, who is part of the event's committee, said: "Swindon Open Studios is for everyone.
"It’s really accessible, plus you get to meet the artists and see where the magic happens."
Twenty venues in central Swindon, including 21 artists at Artsite and 19 at PodPad, will take part.
