Driving while uninsured has led to one van driver getting his vehicle seized by police at Membury Services.
To make matters worse, when officers from Wiltshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) pulled the driver over at the stop just off the M4, they realised it wasn't the first driving offence they had committed.
The owner of the Ford Transit already had 6 points on their licence for using their mobile phone while driving and will likely now have six more on their way.
Officers reported the driver who will now be off to court and seized the van.
The incident was posted on the Wiltshire Specialist Ops Twitter/X page which regularly provides updates on the team that patrols the county's roads.
In the post, a spokesperson for the RPU said: "Roads Policing Unit with this Ford transit stopped just off the M4 Motorway at Membury Services. Driver already on 6 points for using his phone whilst driving now has 6 more impending due to driving with no insurance. Driver reported and will be off to court. Vehicle Seized."
