A motorist who only had a provisional licence was caught drug driving on the M4.
Wiltshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) were called to assist Thames Valley Police in dealing with reports of a driver driving a vehicle erratically on the M4.
The vehicle was safely stopped at Membury services and the driver was given a roadside drug wipe test which returned a result of positive for cannabis.
The driver, who had not fully passed a driving test, was subsequently arrested and the vehicle was seized.
The incident was posted on the Wiltshire Specialist Ops Twitter page, which provides regular updates on offences being committed on the county's roads.
In the post, a police spokesperson said: "RPU were requested to assist Thames Valley Police in stopping a vehicle driving erratically on the M4 near to Membury.
"Vehicle safely stopped at the services, Driver positive for cannabis and a provisional licence holder.
"Driver Arrested, Vehicle Seized."
