Police have issued an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a pedal bike in Swindon.
The bike was stolen from a garden on Theobald Street near the town centre on Saturday, July 13 and police are now appealing for information to locate a man they would like to speak to.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "If this is you or you recognise this man, please contact us on 101 quoting the reference number 54240082029."
Wiltshire Police recommend using two locks to slow thieves down and prevent a bike being stolen, locking the frame and both wheels to a secure cycle stand, keeping parts that are easy to remove with you, such as wheels, lights, baskets or the saddle, and parking it in a well lit area which is covered by CCTV.
Additionally, they recommend registering the bike frame on a national bike registration database, getting a bike security marked, locking a bike securely at home, asking for proof of ownership and checking the bike frame number on national bike registration databases if buying one second hand and acting quickly to report a stolen bike to the police.
