A Swindon man is accused of using a firearm to threaten an alleged victim.
Officers from Thames Valley Police arrested 24-year-old Jamie-Lee Dalton at an address on Cottsway Court in Stratton on Thursday, September 5.
The suspect, of no fixed abode, was taken into police custody and questioned.
On Friday, September 6, he was charged with one count of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "The charge relates to an incident which occurred on 27 August in Milton Keynes in which a man was threatened by a man with a firearm."
Dalton appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Friday, where magistrates allowed the Crown Court to take jurisdiction of the case due to the nature of the alleged offence.
He has now been remanded in custody until his next hearing, which is due to be heard at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday, October 8.
