Police have issued an update on their investigation into a shocking attack in Old Town.
In April, the Adver reported on CCTV footage of a man being knocked to the ground outside a High Street takeaway.
Police issued an appeal for witnesses and information about the assault, which happened at around 7pm on Friday, April 26.
Nearly five months on from the witness appeal, police say they have identified potential suspects.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "We have two people who are currently on remand for unrelated serious offences.
"They have both been questioned in relation to this offence and evidence is currently being reviewed by the Crown Prosecution Service pending a charging decision."
In the footage, the victim can be seen leaving the Old Town Kebab House with a bag of food, He then kicked a bike leaning outside of the venue, and was then followed out by two people who were thought to be older teenagers or in their early 20s.
The 50-year-old man put his arm out in an attempt to halt their approach before one of the two punched him once in the face.
After he fell to the ground, the pair walked back inside and a pedestrian crossed the High Street to help him.
