A lit cigarette was allegedly launched into a victim’s eye during a road rage incident in Swindon.
Police are investigating an altercation between the drivers of a Land Rover and a Renault van on the junction of Manchester Road and Corporation Street.
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 5.30pm on Friday, September 6.
Following a verbal argument, it is alleged that a lit cigarette end was thrown into one of the vehicles, hitting a victim in the eye.
This reportedly caused lasting pain and redness.
Police have launched a probe into what happened and are searching for any witnesses who may be able to help their investigation.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses following an altercation between two drivers on the junction of Manchester Road and Corporation Street, Swindon.
