An e-bike rider involved in a crash in Swindon faces charges of having Class A drugs and a bladed weapon.
Police responded to reports of a collision between an electric bike and a vehicle in Pembroke Gardens in Moredon at around 12.30pm on Thursday, September 12.
At the scene, they arrested the rider of the bike, 25-year-old Jahred Tafari from Beech Avenue in Pinehurst, and took the suspect into custody.
He was later charged with possession of a bladed article and possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.

The defendant appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and has now been remanded into custody ahead of his next court appearance.
Police Sergeant Deller of the Stratton, Central Swindon North and West policing team said: “This incident involved excellent collaborative work with the community assisting the police, and I want to thank them for that.
“We always take drugs and weapons offences incredibly seriously and we would always encourage anybody who has information or intelligence on these offences to please report it to us.”
