Someone reportedly attacked a woman while she walked her dog on a Swindon street.
Police say that between 7.45am and 8am on September 13, a suspect suddenly hit a woman in her 40s in the back of her head while she was in Chandos Close, Grange Park.
Witnesses to the attack are now being sought in a bid to attain any information that could help police locate and arrest the person responsible for this unprovoked attack.
The Wiltshire force is investigating the reported crime and has released a photo of the suspect that was taken from behind.
A spokesperson said: "The suspect is described as a mixed race or Asian male, around 5ft 6ins tall, slim and young looking, with dark wispy facial hair.
"He was wearing a thick black coat, black jeans and black and white Nike trainers.
"He was wearing a black beanie hat and had a black buff covering his face.
"If anyone has any further information regarding this incident or the identification of this individual, please contact 101 and reference log 54240108440."
