The following cases were heard at Swindon Magistrates Court earlier this week.
TOOTHILL: Paul Tomlinson, of Ely Close, has been sentenced for racially-aggravated intentional harassment to cause alarm or distress.
The 58-year-old indicated a plea of guilty to using insulting words or disorderly behaviour to cause a man distress in Swindon on February 2, 2024.
He must pay a fine of £288 as well as £85 in court costs plus a £115 surcharge.
PARK NORTH: Luke Hambidge, of Yeovil Close, has been sentenced for possession of a Class A drugs.
The 30-year-old indicated a plea of guilty to having 40 tablets of methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA) in Swindon on May 25, 2023.
He must pay a fine of £450 as well as £85 in court costs plus a £180 surchage.
The illegal substance has been forfeited and destroyed.
GORSE HILL: Wilbron Dias, of Argyle Street, has been sentenced for two offences.
The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Cricklade Road without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident in which damage was caused to a police vehicle on August 10, 2024.
He must pay fines of £233 and £116 as well as £85 in court costs plus a £140 surcharge.
He also received five penalty points on his driving licence.
TOOTHILL: Two people have been sentenced for breaching the requirements of a closure order.
Corbyn Rothschild, 36, of Victoria Road, and 27-year-old Mark Eales, of Godolphin Close, each pleaded guilty to remaining without reasonable excuse on the premises of an Affleck Close property on September 2, 2024, which contravened a closure order enforce by Swindon Magistrates Court on July 25, 2024, under section 76 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Both defendants must pay £85 in court costs and an £80 fine, while Eales must also pay a £32 surcharge.
TOWN CENTRE: Derrick Gardiner, of North Street, has been sentenced for breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
The 32-year-old indicated a plea of guilty to - between October 23 and November 23, 2022 - installing and uninstalling numerous social media and dating apps and then failing to retain and display the history, which breached an order made by Bristol Crown Court on April 9, 2021.
He must pay a £509 fine plus £85 in court costs and a £204 surcharge.
SWINDON: Anthony Todua, of Keogh Close in Ash Vale, Aldershot, has been sentenced for driving offences.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle along Oxford Road in Swindon on September 1, 2024, without valid insurance after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath namely 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.
He has been banned from driving for 17 months, fined £444, and ordered to pay £85 in court costs plus a £296 surcharge.

LYNEHAM: Desire Mpoya, of Calne Road, has been sentenced for two offences.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis when required to police having driven a vehicle in Swindon on September 1, 2024, in the course of an investigation into whether the defendant had committed an offence.
Mpoya also indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer on the same date and has been banned from driving for 12 months, fined £405, and ordered to pay £100 in compensation as well as £85 in court costs plus a £162 surcharge.
SWINDON: James Radford, of no fixed abode, has been sentenced for theft from a shop.
The 57-year-old pleaded guilty to stealing six bottles of spirits worth £164.78 from the Co-op on Cavendish Square with the help of others on May 15, 2024.
He must pay £55 in compensation.
