A man from Swindon who has provided furniture for Netflix shows is opening a pop-up shop to showcase the original period pieces.
Cameron Carash, 27, is the owner of Hus & Home which specialises in mid-century vintage and antique furniture.
He will be opening his first pop-up shop at Swindon’s Designer Outlet, running for one week only from September 23 to September 30.
Cameron said: “This is the first vintage, mid-century and antique furniture store of its kind to open within Swindon Designer Outlet so it is quite a big opportunity and a proud moment for us.

“We will have over 2000 sq ft of space to show off our products and what Hus & Home is really about. This will be a great opportunity for us to showcase our items to the people of Swindon and the wider public with our first pop-up shop.
“There’s no place better and more fitting to do this than the McArthurGlen Swindon Designer Outlet.
“We honestly cannot wait to open. This is the first pop-up shop that we have done and the first for the Designer Outlet to house an antique and vintage interior store. It’ll be great to showcase something different not just in the outlet, but also in the Swindon area.”
Cameron, whose main job is as a facilities manager at a private hospital started collecting and restoring period pieces at just 14 years old, after visiting an auction with his father.
Earlier this month he told the Advertiser: “I think the first thing I ever bought was a box of copper stamps. I bought it for £25. And I ended up selling it for £160.
“It’s exciting having started at 14 and being 27 at the moment, seeing where I am now and especially where it could go in the future.”
His items have helped to build sets for Everything Once, a Netflix series released in 2023 and for an upcoming 2025 spy film, Black Bag, with Cate Blancher and Michael Fassbender.
Recently he has also provided items for stars like Tom Hanks and the cast of Forrest Gump for the upcoming movie Here, set to be released in November.
The store is located next to Guess in the designer outlet and will be open 10am until 8pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 6pm on Sunday.
