A woman was assaulted around midnight on the Wroughton to Swindon M4 bridge by an unknown man, sparking a police appeal.
A woman in her 20s was walking over the overpass sometime between midnight and 12.45am when she was targeted by the suspect.
She is not reported to have suffered any injuries, and police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Wiltshire Police has asked for witnesses or those with dashcam footage of the area at that time to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following an assault in the early hours of this morning (23/11).

“Sometime between midnight and 12.45am, the victim – a woman in her 20s – was targeted by an unknown male suspect on the Wroughton M4 overpass.
“She is fortunately not thought to have suffered any reported injuries.
“Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident, or drove over the overpass at around the times above, is asked to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240138383.”
