Wiltshire Council has warned drivers to expect icy conditions on the roads this evening.
Following further heavy rain overnight, it is expected that water on Wiltshire's roads will turn icy this afternoon, into this evening and overnight into tomorrow morning.
Several flood warnings and road closures are still in place in the aftermath of Storm Bert after days of major disruption due to the floods.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Our gritting teams are heading out this evening and overnight and we are advising you to take extra care on the roads, to allow extra time for your journeys, not to assume roads have been treated and to watch out for ice, particularly black ice.
"Anyone heading out on foot or on a bicycle should take extra care and be aware of slips and trips in the icy conditions."
