A Swindon man who has continued to commit drug offences from a young age has been given his longest prison sentence yet.
Lewis Morton, 23, of Fairford Crescent, Penhill, was sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on February 18 for possession of MDMA, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of a push dagger, possession of criminal property and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
He had pleaded guilty to these offences at an earlier hearing on January 14.
Morton was also charged with requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour, possession with intent to supply heroin, cocaine and MDMA, possession of cannabis, heroin and cocaine, possession of a curved blade of 50cm or more, air rifle and a zombie knife.
The zombie knife charge, along with possession of an air rifle and requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour will stay on his file.
However, the other charges were dismissed as no evidence was offered by the prosecution.

An investigation by the Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team (LPTT) led officers to arrest Morton on November 5.
They seized £2,922.50 in cash, an Xbox Series S, two Moncler jackets, one Surron Electric Bike and two electric push bikes and officers believe the drug offences took place between September 17 and November 5.
Morton was jailed for three years and 10 months after being caught running a local drugs line in 2022.
He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession of criminal property and possession of a class B controlled drug at Swindon Crown Court on April 13, 2022.

According to Wiltshire Police, the drugs line was responsible for distributing around 900 street deals of crack cocaine and heroin across town between November 2021 and February 2022 and Morton played a "crucial role."
Prior to this offence, aged just 18, Morton was sentenced to 27 months behind bars when officers found 78 wraps of crack cocaine and 22 wraps of heroin in his underpants.
The youngster was already on bail for drug dealing offences at the time of his arrest and when officers stopped him, his phone would not stop ringing and he tried to palm it off onto a passer-by and claim it was nothing to do with him.
On Tuesday, his honour Judge JN Townsend sentenced Morton to five years and seven months in custody.
