A lorry crash on the M4 near Swindon saw firefighters rush to the scene to help the driver.
The crash which took place just after 3.30pm on Thursday, March 13, saw one lorry come off the road at junction 15 of the M4 and crash down the grass verge.
Fire crews rushed to try and rescue the driver, who struggled to get out of the crashed lorry, and several members of the public expressed their concern.
"As you enter the M4 from the Great Western Hospital junction there is a lorry that has come off the road and down the verge," said one eyewitness, who does not want to be named.
"Fire crews trying to rescue the driver by the looks of things."
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service has now confirmed that it was in attendance, and helped the driver to get out of the lorry.
"We were called to J15 of the M4 eastbound at 3.42pm today (March 13) after a lorry left the carriageway and came to rest down the embankment," said a spokesperson for the fire service.
"Two crews attended, from Swindon and Stratton, and helped the driver to self-extricate. Our stop was at 4.19pm and we have now left the scene."
It is currently not known if the driver sustained any serious injuries as a result of the crash, and the South Western Ambulance Service and Wiltshire Police have also been contacted.
