Two athletes are paving the way for para-boxing, proving that anything is possible in and out of the ring.
Thomas Stamp and Jack Carpenter, both from Swindon and living with cerebral palsy, made history in May as the first para-boxers to compete at Swindon's Meca in a match organised by SM Fight Club.
Thomas, 23, dominated the bout, but both men were described as "victorious" for their courage and performances.
He said: "We are not here to fit in, we are here to stand out."
The match raised funds for CP Sport, a charity promoting sporting opportunities for people with cerebral palsy.
Thomas is an ambassador for the organisation.
He has spoken openly about turning his life around after struggles with mental health and alcohol, crediting sport for his transformation.
He now competes in football, boxing and sprinting, and trains under Nicolas Fabri and Jo Cole at The Arena Health and Fitness Gym.
Jack trains at Fight City in Swindon.
Their next bout takes place on Saturday, December 6 at Meca, with both men determined to win the newly introduced Cerebral Palsy Title belt.
This time, they are raising funds for CP Sport and It’s OK Not To Be OK.
They are not only fighting for the title but also to show dreams can come true.
Doors open at 6pm and tickets can be purchased directly from the boxers or on the door.
