A 25-year-old drug dealer has been jailed after throwing his keys away when he ran from police at a shopping centre in Wiltshire.
Oscar Webster, of Massey Road, Devizes, was detained by the Swindon Local Police Tasking Team (LPTT) on November 7, after suspicious activity was detected in a car park at the Orbital Shopping Park in Swindon.
Webster was on a suspended sentence for cocaine supply at the time.
After officers spotted him drug dealing, Webster made off on foot, but was located and detained a short distance away.
Webster tried to dispose of his jacket, phone and car keys, to change his appearance and stop police from finding evidence of his offences.

Office found cocaine in Webster’s vehicle, as well as the mobile phone that he had discarded.
This phone showed Webster played a significant role in cocaine supply across multiple towns in Wiltshire.
Along with the more than £1,300 of Class A and B drugs, numerous mobile devices were seized, along with £400 of cash.
Webster was charged and pleaded guilty to the supply of cocaine in Wiltshire.
As well as his imprisonment, the judge at Swindon Crown Court also activated his suspended sentence of 16 months custodial sentence, issued for a previous conviction for supplying Class A drugs.
Acting Sergeant Sam Young, based in the LPTT, said: “Webster is a repeat offender who clearly hasn’t learned his lesson from his previous conviction for drug dealing.
“Knowing he was on a suspended sentence for supplying cocaine, he tried to flee from officers having been seen drug dealing, but he was no match for the LPTT.
“I’m pleased he has pleaded guilty and now been jailed for his offences, and we will continue to be robust with those who bring harm to our streets.”
Swindon Police praised the “excellent work" of the LPTT, in bringing Webster to justice.
