A man has been charged after two children were seriously injured in a crash on a busy road in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the B4006 Beechcroft Road at around 3:15pm on December 11, 2023 following reports of two children being hit by a vehicle.
Harold Small, 88, of Corsham Road, Penhill, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He is due to appear for trial at Swindon Crown Court on Wednesday, January 7.
A large emergency service response descended on Beechcroft Road, at the traffic lights near the church, and Wiltshire Police confirmed that the two children were taken to Great Western Hospital to be treated for their injuries and were discharged the following day.
Police did not confirm the nature of their injuries.
It is believed that Small was behind the wheel of a VW Polo at the time of the incident.
The area can be a hotspot for crashes and in a separate incident, an 11-year-old child was hit by a car on Monday, January 5 on Kingsdown Road, Stratton, near the junction of the B4006 Beechcroft Road.
The child sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
