In the first week of February, Swindon Borough Council confirmed that work was on track to clear the former bus station site by the end of March.
The council has since released new images of the ongoing demolition and confirmed that work has not fallen behind this schedule.
The pictures show that the station’s canopy has been removed, with large piles of rubble located around the main building, which is also being demolished.
Significant parts of the main building, which were still intact a week ago, have been torn down.

It is hoped that the former public transport hub will eventually be repurposed as a new town theatre.
A council spokesperson added: “Full clearance of the bus station site is on track to be completed by the end of March.
“The canopy has now come down and work is underway to demolish the main building.
“Any brick, kerbs and other concrete materials are being cleared for processing to be crushed and reused on site where possible.
“Steel and other materials with no further use will be sent off for recycling.
“Any asbestos found on site will be safely removed by specialists.”
