Business owner near Swindon charged with dangerous driving

The owner of a business just outside of Swindon is facing court, charged with dangerous driving and breaching court orders.

Danny Devlin, of Showfield in Royal Wootton Bassett, appeared in Swindon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 4, after having been arrested and held overnight.

The 33-year-old is the owner of The Gloss Shop at White Horse Garage, in Broad Hinton, just outside of Swindon, according to Companies House records.

Magistrates heard how on Sunday, March 1, 2026, Devlin allegedly drove a red Audi dangerously along the B4696, Lydiard Plain, in Swindon.

His case has now been adjourned, and the business owner is next expected to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on May 22, 2026.

He has been released on unconditional bail until that time.
