A tree has fallen on a road in Swindon, partially blocking it and causing heavy traffic.
This morning (July 14), photos emerged showing a large tree collapsed onto Devizes Road in Wroughton, covering a large portion of the road.
In a statement, Wroughton & Wichelstowe Parish Council put a statement on their Facebook page, reading: "Warning. A tree has fallen down on Devizes Road.
"The relevant authorities have been informed and we're helping drivers on the scene.
"Please avoid the area if you can."
AA Traffic Maps shows heavy traffic and delays building on Devizes Road.
