A new burger place is opening in Swindon.
After operating as a delivery-only kitchen in the town for the past three years, SoBe Smash Burgers is opening a new restaurant on Wood Street.
The venture is bringing a range of smash burgers, loaded fries, chicken, milkshakes and desserts to customers in Old Town.
This will be the 19th physical SoBe location across the UK, and the brand already operates hundreds of delivery kitchens nationwide.
Customers can expect a menu centred around smash burgers with a choice of signature sauces, alongside loaded fries, chicken tenders and desserts.
It will also serve freshly made milkshakes and ice cream, along with SoBe merchandise.
It will be filling the former home of The Pantry café. New tables and chairs are visible in the front window.
Last October, the café’s owner Wanda Hawkins spoke about her plans to sell the business and take a well-deserved break after 16 years of work, and although the site has now been sold, the café is no longer trading.
It has been reported that the SoBe revamp is nearly finished and should be complete by the end of this month.
