People are being invited to help shape the future of adult social care through the Big Conversation on Care.
The Big Conversation on Care is being led by Baroness Casey’s Independent Commission on Adult Social Care and aims to gather views from across England on what good care should look like, who should receive support, the role of families and communities, and how adult social care should be funded.
Swindon Borough Council supports more than 3,800 adults and 1,560 unpaid carers every year, helping people live as independently as possible.
Cllr Vinay Manro, cabinet member for adults and health, said: "A strong care offer should help people earlier, prevent problems becoming more serious and support people to stay healthier and independent for longer.
"The experiences of people who draw on care, unpaid carers, families and care professionals need to be part of that conversation."
Cllr Manro visited residents and staff at Fessey House to hear first-hand about the impact of quality care and support.
People are encouraged to share their views with the Commission.
