Swindon's popular car boot sale is gearing up for its final events of the year.
The weekly sale, held every Saturday at Greenbridge Recreation Ground, has attracted crowds from across Wiltshire and beyond throughout the summer, offering a chance to hunt for bargains, collectibles, clothes, toys, tools, and household items.
Organisers have confirmed the final sale of 2026 is set for Saturday, October 17, though this is subject to weather and ground conditions.
A spokesperson for Swindon Car Boot Sale said: "Our final date at Swindon in 2026 will be October 17th, weather and ground conditions permitting.
"There are no plans to continue after this date unless the ground is good."
The next car boot sale will take place on Saturday, September 26.
Sellers can arrive from 10am, with buyers admitted from 11am.
Early bird access is available from 10.30am for £2 per person.
The organiser describes the event as a friendly, family-focused market with free parking, food and refreshments, and a wide variety of stalls.
Sellers do not need to book in advance and can simply turn up on the day, with pitches costing £10 per vehicle.
The car boot sale has become a regular weekend outing for families, traders, and bargain hunters in the area.
Organisers are advising attendees to check weather updates before travelling, as events may be cancelled if ground conditions are unsuitable.

The Greenbridge Recreation Ground will continue to host the event until the season wraps up in mid-October.
No further dates will be added unless weather and ground conditions remain suitable.
