Swindon trains are set to face more delays today, due to an emergency fault in London.
Great Western Railway (GWR) has announced delays and cancellations to services running between London Paddington and Reading today, September 26 due to a fault with the signalling system.
The issue was reported shortly after 11.30am and is currently expected to be resolved by around 1pm.
While Swindon train services are continuing to run, passengers are being advised to check their journeys before travelling and to expect delays or short-notice cancellations while engineers work to fix the problem.
Posting on X, GWR said: "Travel update.
"Due to a fault with the signalling system between London Paddington and Reading, fewer trains are able to run on all lines.
"Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled.
"Disruption is expected until 13:00."
