Liddington Parish Council is looking to carry out remedial work on a damaged wall.

The council is looking for a replacement horse ring after it was found that the original installation of the village hall defibrillator had damaged the stonework.

Minutes from the council’s meeting on October 13 at 6.30pm in the Village Hall said no horse ring was found beneath the defibrillator when it was partly removed.

Councillors said residents have asked for a suitable replacement, with the item placed on the front of the building.

Councillor David Babington said it should fit the building and agreed to source one.

The meeting of Liddington Parish Council was attended by Councillors David Babington, Simon Hayter, Andra Jones, Andrew Poppleton and Gordon Wilson. Adrian Rogers attended.
