Hello and welcome to Your Neighbourhood, the beginning of an exciting new era on our website.

We already three dedicated sections on our website - for Stratton, Walcot and Highworth - and by the end of this year, we hope to have one such section for every area of our patch.

As you will have seen by now, we have launched a new-look website and because of all the hard work that has gone into this, we have not been able to create all our community sections as quickly as we would like.

However, there has been a huge demand from people asking how they can put their community news straight on to the Adver site.

So we have introduced this general neighbourhood section for people to use while we beaver away behind the scenes building all those individual sections.

It is a stop-gap, so please bear with us - we will bring you your own sections as quickly as we possibly can.

In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy keeping up with local news in Swindon through Your Neighbourhood and we look forward to reading your submissions.
