INCEST monster Alan Hunt has been jailed for 17 years and banned from working with children for life.

The 48-year-old, of Park North, was sentenced for a total of 34 charges of indecent assault against his own daughter and two other women at Gloucester Crown Court yesterday.

Judge Mark Horton told him: “These indecent assaults were repeated – in the case of your daughter – on an almost daily basis. The offences were planned in a way that any predatory sexual offender tends to do.

“Not only have you shown absolutely no remorse in this case, the evidence you gave is proof of the clever and manipulative way you offended.”

Hunt abused his daughter Susan, who is now 29, from the age of 11 to 23.

Judge Horton said: “You knew she already had a troubled childhood. Your daughter was and is an intelligent and sensitive person whom you groomed and sexually abused from the age of 11.”

He said the abuse meant it was difficult for Hunt’s victims to trust men and have relationships.

He said: “The damage that you have done to them psychologically was laid out for the whole court to see.

“You stole their childhood. You thereafter robbed them of their ability to shed themselves of the pain you caused them.”

Judge Horton said the three women had been left “humiliated, ashamed and embarrassed.”

Hunt was convicted at Swindon Crown Court three weeks ago after a three-day trial.

Judge Horton said he observed Hunt acting merely with “interested amusement” when watching his victim’s relive the horror they had suffered at the trial.

As Judge Horton delivered his verdict yesterday grey-haired Hunt stared straight ahead, showing no emotion.

When he entered the courtroom he blew kisses at people gathered in the public gallery.

Judge Horton also imposed a life-time Sexual Offences Prevention Order on Hunt, which will severely limit his movements when he is freed from prison. He has also been added the sex offender’s register for life.

l Hunt’s daughter Susan waived her right to anonymity before the sentencing hearing. She was entitled to remain anonymous but spoke out to encourage other victims of sex abuse to report the crimes.
